I add to that my own vision, which is: As there are as many minds as there are heads, so there are as many ways to change the world. 

We are all capable of making our existence palpable, of changing the world one person at a time, poem by poem, painting by painting, story by story, hand by hand, one voice at a time.

Coming up

Shurooq is currently preparing for her 10th solo art exhibition, which will be her artistic statement and peaceful retaliation against the authorities that shut down her show It's a Man's World and against those who banned her paintings in Kuwait. Date to be announced. Gallery to be decided. 


Ayyam Gallery's The Young Collector's Auction will take place in Dubai on May 15th 2012 (viewing from 8 to 14 May).
